Made Because We Got Tired of Being Disappointed.
Between us, we have spent over 25 years in the food industry. We know what goes into great food.
For years, we kept seeing the same hazelnut spread everywhere — in cafes, in homes, on every breakfast table. Every time we read the label, we had the same thought: 13% hazelnuts. For a jar called hazelnut spread, that felt like a con.
So we spent six months testing recipes to find the right balance — rich without being too heavy, smooth and spreadable. The result is Mannela.
